Many products say that they will do this or say they will make the color last longer but like everything else, it is a marketing tool. Wash out hair dye as your referred to it is just that, it is not permanent nor is it meant to be. It is a temporary shade or toner that will wear off and fade as you shampoo it. The only thing that will help is to use a very gentle shampoo and not too many hair care products as they take more shampooing to remove them.
