Should Clipping Fingernails Be Outlawed In Public Places Or Work Areas?

My association for the little reason has taken the tough position opposite people writing their fingernails during their own desk.
Just wondering if I’m the peculiar male out meditative this something which shouldn’t make the difference if we have been you do it during your own table in your own area.
There were multiform complaints filed (not opposite me) about the fingernail clipping. And it was brought up as the illness concern.
The corporate work universe sucks!

  3. rockieba Says:

Okay…That’s pretty stupid. Not that you’re asking, but that people have actually thought up a policy to outlaw grooming yourself. I guess that if you sneeze at your desk, you get instantly shot in the back of the head?!?!?
    : )

I can’t stand the sound of someone doing that. I file mine. Anyway, it depends on where you work.

  5. Anonymous Says:

I have no problem with clipping nails at work so long as the clipper eats all of the clippings after they are done.

Yes,the corporate world sucks.welcome to the land of Big Brother.
Chances are it is a pet peeve of some mid level management drone who:
Wants to appear as though they can make a decision.
Is so anal that this actually bothers them.
Has a nothing job to worry about and is “making work” so as to appear busy and needed.
Find yourself a small company to work for that is engaged in a job that is of interest to you.It may not pay as much, but you will be happier and also feel as though you have accomplished something.

Yes outlawed and punished by death.

I can’t stand it when people cut their nails in front of me. However, people have to do what they have to do. I think if they really need to cut their nails at work they should just do it in the bathroom.

  10. duckdad Says:

First, I can’t think of a reason why someone would need to clip their fingernails at work. Personal hygiene should be taken care of at home.
Second, fingernails tend to fly all over when clipped, and could end up anywhere. I sure as heck wouldn’t want to find someone else’s clippings in my lunch or in my area.
But you’re right, big corporations are a pain in the rear.
